Today after Church our Women's Group went up to Poor Clares for a visit. We wanted to see Father Richardson's Memorial Garden...and attend Vespers and bring the Nuns some provisions( they live on donations from people like us) . It was a beautiful, peaceful day. We left after Mass and CCD and stopped over at Red Lobster for lunch before continuing on to the Monastery. 
The weather was a little bit chilly, and we even got a tiny bit of snow!!
The weather was a little bit chilly, and we even got a tiny bit of snow!!Vespers were beautiful....quiet and peaceful and then we stayed for the Rosary and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Afterwards we got to talk with Mother Abbess.

Weather aside - because I am a Wisconsinite and all cold and snow stinks - it looks as though it was a wonderful way to spend a day doing something important to you.
