Movin' On In...

Wow ...so it's been a good month since my last post. We've moved into the New House. (Actually I'm still moving stuff over from the Two Rivers house) I'm slowly getting it all put together. I've been a bit paralized when it comes to hanging pics and such(what with all those newly painted, never had holes in them, walls!) But the girls over at Sweeping the Cobwebs have inspired me to bite the bullet and just get it done. So it's really starting to come around and look like 'Home". I finally have it presentable enough to share a few pics. So here goes:

Welcome to ChezMaggii:
Here you get a nice view from the Living Room, thru the Dining Area, to the Kitchen.
I suppose I could probably take the tags off the couch now...LOL

The kitchen. It looks way less cluttered in person....Our latest purchase were these bar stools. I put them together yesterday. I actually have one more to put together but they were aggravating me so I gave up with one left..LOL. I'll get to it tomorrow...

Had no idea I had THIS much wine! Had to get a wine rack...found this one at TJMaxx in GreenBay.

Looking into the Living Room from the Kitchen.

And here is my Library/Art Area. ...still a little cluttered from moving and unpacking. Eventually I'd like to have some seating in here..Maybe a love seat and some chairs...or maybe just a few chairs?

Master Bedroom....

Master Bath..I LOVE how this room turned out!
Walk-in shower.....

and my closet!! (ok...I DO share it with the Commander)LOVE it. CDR put in those shoe shelves last week. Had NO idea I had THAT many!! and THAT's not oven all of them...not even close! YIKES!

Spare room downstairs....

Jack and Jill guest bath, downstairs....I decorated it with kids in mind...(have tons of grand nieces and nephews)

The other spare room-this will probably be my craft room.

Theatre area...we are still finishing up this area so it's a little messy now...

The bar area...there is another larger TV(for movies) on the wall to the left....

This is the area behind the Theatre Room....not much going on in here yet....eventually we'll probably get a pool table and some arcade games or something....
Back upstairs....we JUST finished this room today! Commander and his Brother put in the carpet today. This is CDR' s 'man' room....(not to be confused with the 'man cave" downstairs(ie. the theatre/ game room)We'll probably put all his music equipment in here....

And here is the "company" bathroom upstairs....I really LOVE how this turned out too!
Paintings from my trip to VA Beach this summer....

Well, except this little one..CDR brought this home from one of his Navy Trips...

And last but not least my Laundry Room (Exciting ..I know!!)

Well I hope you've enjoyed your visit..come back soon......

P.S. There's another bathroom that I forgot to take pics...and there's CDR's 'workshop downstairs that I also forgot to take pics of....

Ooh a theater room!

Did your house come with a built in pedestal for your washer? Neat!

Well Yeah..we added it to the plans when we built the house.

Yeah...I've come to really enjoy wine since moving here(thanks to my SIL and there being so many great wineries nearby)..LOL

Shoes, I've always loved!

There's only one problem with the washer and dryer set up....someone set the hookups backwards...the washer should have been on the left, but the hookups have it on the right which means my doors both open to the center...which makes taking clothes from the washer to the dryer a bit awkward.(as i have to work 'around' the doors) The dryer door can be switched around to the other side, but the washer can't.

I love your house...it's gorgeous. Love the Master Bath!!!!
Our hookups are like that too for our washer/dryer. It took me a year to get someone to switch my dryer door, so that at least they weren't smacking each other constantly!

Thanks so much for sharing! It really is a beautiful house, and beautifully decorated.
