Land of Snow and Ice...

...well, I'm here...In the Frozen Tundra!! So far so good...the cold hasn't been toooo bad...Of course I've hardly been out in it yet! LOL. My flights were good.. I was delayed in Milwaukee for a bit and that wasn't too fun. But then.....................................

It was all made up for when we realized we had Cast Members from the Show Wicked on our Flight!!!! Yay!! One of the main reason I was flying up this month was becuase CDR gave me tickets to see Wicked with my SIL, here in Appleton!! I was beyond excited to meet a few members of the Ensemble....Two of the girls let me take their pictures....they were sooo worried they looked awful....well....I think they looked GREAT...I only WISH I could look as 'awful'!!

I finally made it into Appleton and my MIL and her husband were there to pick me up and bring me over to BIL and SIL's house(where the CDR has been staying)Unfortunately CDR was still at work so it was a few hours before I could see him.........finally he walked in the door and oh how wonderful that was. He looks a little different. He's been growing a beard....He had the beginnings of it when he came at Christmas, but at that time it was just a scruffy mess and I REALLY didn't care for it. I was sooooo hoping it would go away soon....SIL told me shortly before I came, that the beard was still around....and I was kinda disappointed....but ....seeing it yesterday...I really LIKE it!! It's fuller now and trimmed nicely so it looks pretty good. It's a MUCH different look than I'm used to seeing him in..being Navy he could never have a beard..I got used to the cleanshaven everyday look. I'm kinda hoping he keeps it now..I made sure to tell him this morning that I like it...

Anyway ..this morning the SIL is over at her daughters taking care of grandbabies....she'll be bringing them over here soon....but for now I have the house to myself...so I figured I'd take the opportunity to do a few things online....I don't want to be spending a lot of time online while there's family to visit...so I wont be on as much. This is probably a good thing...I spend too much time online anyway.
